Minnesota Feedstuffs - Prices for the week ending Wednesday, Jan 2, 2019
**All prices are quoted per ton, unless otherwise noted. **

Oilseed feedstuffs were mixed, while animal protein feedstuffs were steady this past 
week. 

Oilseeds:
   The Mar Soybean Meal futures closed 0.20 higher at 314.90, May closed 0.10 higher 
at 318.30. The Mar Soybean Oil futures closed 49 points lower at 28.18 cents per 
pound, May closed 50 points lower at 28.44 cents per pound. The Rail delivery of high 
protein Soybean Meal in Minnesota was 0.20 higher from 284.90-289.90, the basis 
steady from 30.00 to 25.00 under the March Soybean Meal futures. Linseed Meal, 34 pct 
protein was 5.00 to 15.00 lower from 215.00-225.00 in the North Dakota-Minnesota 
area. Sunflower Meal, 13 pct fiber, 34 pct protein was steady to 5.00 lower from 
165.00-210.00 in the North Dakota-Minnesota area. Canola Meal was 0.20 hgher higher 
at 239.90, the basis steady at 75.00 under the March Soybean Meal futures. Soybean 
Oil in Minnesota was 49 to 73 points lower from 28.68-29.68 cents per pound; the 
basis had no comparison from 50 to 150 points over the March soybean oil futures.

Animal Protein: 
   Meat and Bone Meal, 50 pct protein was steady from 190.00-235.00; Pork was steady 
at 260.00. Yellow Grease was steady from 19.00-19.50 cents per pound. Choice White 
Grease was steady from 22.00-22.50 cents per pound. Feather Meal was steady from 
450.00-565.00. Blood Meal was steady from 450.00-625.00; Pork was steady from 580.00-
650.00.

Millfeeds:
   Wheat Middlings were 25.00 to 45.00 lower from 85.00-100.00.

Bids/Offers prices are bulk per ton, in carlots unless specified. Animal ingredients 
are delivered MPLS, other ingredients are FOB.
