SC Farm Report on Thursday   
  	
   Cattle at SC Auctions on Wednesday: Compared to last week no 
comparisons made due to limited comparable sales. Feeder Steers: Medium 
and Large 1 400-500 lbs none reported; 500-600 lbs 270.00-297.00. Feeder 
Bulls: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs none reported; 500-600 lbs none 
reported. Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 247.50-280.00, 
500-600 lbs 245.00-250.00. Slaughter cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 122.00; 
Boners 80-85% lean 116.00-136.00; High Dressing 138.00; Lean 85-90% lean 
95.00-115.00; Lean Low Dressing 71.00-97.50. Slaughter bulls: Average 
Dressing 1320-1905 lbs 131.00-155.00; High Dressing none reported; Low 
Dressing 1265-1900 lbs 120.00-130.00. 
   Cow/Calf Pairs: Medium and Large 1 1150-1225 lbs Young to Middle Aged 
Cows with Calves under 300 lbs 1850.00-2025.00 per pair. Medium and Large 
1 1210 lbs Young Aged Cow with Calf over 300 lbs 2650.00 per pair. Medium 
and Large 2 850-1035 lbs Young to Middle Aged Cows with Calves under 300 
lbs 1125.00-2150.00 per pair. 
   Hogs on Wednesday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-300 lbs was not reported. Sows live 
price 300-450 lbs 43.42; 450-500 lbs 48.41; 500-550 lbs 50.76.
   SC Grain on Thursday.  Corn was 2 to 3 cents lower; elevator bids 4.11-
5.03, processor bids 4.78-4.91.  Soybeans were 19 to 20 cents lower; 
elevator bids 10.58-11.53, processor bids 12.43, and export 12.58.  New 
Crop Wheat bids were 2 to 4 cents lower; elevator bids 4.71-6.07.
   Cotton on Thursday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 1.46
lower at 75.35.  
   Fruits & Vegetables: Prices paid to SC growers at the Columbia State
