SC Farm Report on Friday   
	          
   SC Cattle Auctions Weekly Review:  Compared to two weeks ago, all 
classes of feeder cattle were steady to 2.00 higher.  Feeder Steers: 
Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 120.00-144.00; 500-600 lbs 120.00-
140.00.  Feeder Bulls: Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 121.00-140.00; 
500-600 lbs 115.00-131.00.  Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 
lbs 115.00-130.00, 500-600 lbs 111.00-125.00.  Slaughter cows were 
steady. Slaughter cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 53.00-64.00; Boners 80-85% 
lean 50.00-73.00; Lean 85-90% lean 50.00-62.00; Lean low dressing 30.00-
51.00.  Slaughter bulls were steady.  Slaughter bulls: 875-1965 lbs 
55.00-105.00. 
   Goats: [360]  Week Ago: 438.  Reported Monday to Wednesday. Slaughter 
and replacement classes sold on a per head basis and weights are 
estimated.  Kids:  Sel 1 Under 20 lbs 25.00-35.00 and one @ 75.00 Fancy, 
20-40 lbs 35.00-100.00, 40-60 lbs 60.00-110.00, 60-80 lbs 80.00-135.00.  
Wethers: Slaughter 1 and 2 80-100 lbs 125.00-170.00, 100-150 lbs 190.00-
350.00.  Does/Nannies: Sel 1 50-70 lbs 70.00-127.50, 70-100 lbs 90.00-
175.00, 100-140 lbs 135.00-180.00, 140-180 lbs 140.00-170.00; Sel 2 50-70 
lbs 55.00-100.00, 70-100 lbs 60.00-115.00, 100-140 lbs 110.00-120.00.  
Bucks/Billies: Sel 1 70-100 lbs 115.00-195.00, 100-150 lbs 120.00-270.00, 
150-250 lbs 190.00-290.00; Sel 2 70-100 lbs one @ 100.00.  
   SC Grain on Friday. New Crop corn was 5 to 12 cents higher; elevator 
bids 4.89-5.04, processor bids 4.97-5.24.  Soybeans were 11 to 17 cents 
higher; elevator bids 8.38-8.76, processor bid 9.38, and export 9.23.  
Wheat bids were mostly 1 to 2 cents higher; elevator bids 5.08-5.36.  
   Cotton on Friday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 0.53 
lower at 59.36. 
   Fruits & Vegetables:  Prices paid to SC growers at the Columbia State
