SC Farm Report on Friday   
	          
  SC Cattle Auctions Weekly Review:  Compared to last week, all classes 
of feeder cattle were steady to 2.00 higher.  Feeder Steers: Medium and 
Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 135.00-144.00; 500-600 lbs 127.00-143.50.  Feeder 
Bulls: Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 127.00-145.00; 500-600 lbs 
122.00-135.00.  Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 115.00-
135.00, 500-600 lbs 112.00-135.00.  Slaughter cows were 3.00 higher. 
Slaughter cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 55.00-72.00; Boners 80-85% lean 
52.00-79.00; Lean 85-90% lean 51.00-66.00; Lean low dressing 34.00-52.00.  
Slaughter bulls were steady.  Slaughter bulls: 920-2215 lbs 65.00-107.00. 
   Goats: [300]  Week Ago: 382.  Reported Monday to Wednesday. Slaughter 
and replacement classes sold on a per head basis and weights are 
estimated.  Kids:  Sel 1 Under 20 lbs 25.00-27.50, 20-40 lbs 32.50-
60.00, 40-60 lbs 40.00-90.00, 60-80 lbs 72.50-115.00, 80-100 lbs 95.00-
110.00; Sel 2 N/A.  Wethers: Slaughter 1 and 2 80-100 lbs 195.00, 100-150 
lbs 175.00-220.00.  Does/Nannies: Sel 1 50-70 lbs 77.50-112.00, 70-100 
lbs 82.50-140.00; Sel 2 50-70 lbs 47.50-65.00, 70-100 lbs 65.00-105.00.  
Bucks/Billies: Sel 1 70-100 lbs 165.00-195.00, 100-150 lbs 120.00-170.00, 
150-250 lbs 165.00-230.00; Sel 2 N/A.  Pairs/Trios:  Sel 1 70-100 lbs 
with One Kid Under 20 lbs 125.00-145.00 per pair; Sel 2 65-90 lbs with 
One Kid Under 20 lbs 70.00-85.00.
   SC Grain on Friday. New Crop corn was 8 to 11 cents higher; elevator 
bids 4.93-4.94, processor bids 4.98-5.28.  Soybeans were 8 to 10 cents 
higher; elevator bids 8.21-8.68, processor bid 9.07, and export 9.07.  
Wheat bids were mostly 3 to 4 cents higher, and one location was 11 cents 
higher; elevator bids 5.34-5.63.  
   Cotton on Friday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 0.89 
lower at 63.44.
