SC Farm Report on Monday

   National direct slaughter cattle weekly summary. Weighted averages
for all grades, Standard to Prime, mostly Select and Choice. Live FOB
steers 1,365 lbs at 113.76, heifers 1,235 lbs at 113.50. Dressed 
delivered steers 874 lbs at 184.21, heifers 775 lbs at 183.82. Weekly 
boxed beef cutout values for 600-900 carcass weights Choice 222.57, dn 
0.83, and Select 207.07, dn 2.18.
   National direct feeder pigs last Friday, per head weighted average
prices are delivered to the buyer's farm.  Early weaned pigs and all 
feeder pigs 5.00 per head lower. Demand light to moderate for moderate 
offerings. Receipts include 54% formulated prices. Feeder pigs 10-12 
lbs cash basis 38.19; 40 lbs cash basis 63.36.
   Hogs on Friday. Plant delivered weighted average. National direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-300 lbs was 0.08 higher at 58.87.  
Sows live price 300-449 lbs 45.91, 450-499 lbs 50.84, and 500-549 lbs 
54.30.
   SC Grain on Monday.  New Crop Corn was mostly steady to 1 cent higher; 
elevator bids 4.59-4.65, processor bids 4.64-4.94.  Soybeans were 1 to 3 
cents higher; elevator bids 7.83-8.28, processor bid 8.68, and export 
8.68.  Wheat was steady to 3 cents higher; elevator bids 5.03-5.32. 
   Cotton on Monday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 0.40 
higher at 63.49.
   Fruits & Vegetables: Prices paid to SC growers at the Columbia State
