SC Farm Report on Friday   
	          
  SC Cattle Auctions Weekly Review:  Compared to last week, all classes 
of feeder cattle were 2.00 lower.  Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1-2 
400-500 lbs 127.00-148.00; 500-600 lbs 124.00-145.00.  Feeder Bulls: 
Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 121.00-146.00; 500-600 lbs 118.00-
135.00.  Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 117.00-130.00, 
500-600 lbs 113.00-121.00.  Slaughter cows were steady. Slaughter cows: 
Breakers 75-80% lean 51.00-75.00; Boners 80-85% lean 53.00-80.00; Lean 
85-90% lean 50.00-63.00; Lean low dressing 39.00-55.00.  Slaughter bulls 
were steady.  Slaughter bulls: 850-2330 lbs 51.00-101.00. 
   Goats: [382]  Week Ago: 216.  Reported Monday to Wednesday. Slaughter 
and replacement classes sold on a per head basis and weights are 
estimated.  Kids:  Sel 1 Under 20 lbs 30.00-82.50, 20-40 lbs 30.00-
167.50, 40-60 lbs 55.00-180.00, 60-80 lbs 70.00-200.00; Sel 2 Under 20 
lbs 30.00-37.50, 20-40 lbs 80.00-195.00, 40-60 lbs 40.00-110.00.  
Wethers: Slaughter 1 and 2 80-100 lbs 150.00-320.00, 100-150 lbs 200.00-
330.00.  Does/Nannies: Sel 1 50-70 lbs 60.00-95.00, 70-100 lbs 77.50-
160.00, 100-140 lbs 120.00-240.00; Sel 2 50-70 lbs 55.00-65.00, 70-100 
lbs 70.00-130.00, 100-140 lbs 110.00-115.00.  Bucks/Billies: Sel 1 70-100 
lbs 120.00-162.50, 100-150 lbs 125.00-240.00, 150-250 lbs 150.00-320.00; 
Sel 2 70-100 lbs one @ 70.00, 100-150 lbs one @ 140.00.  
   SC Grain on Friday. New Crop corn was 4 to 5 cents lower; elevator 
bids 4.59-4.64, processor bids 4.64-4.94.  Soybeans were 13 to 14 cents 
lower; elevator bids 7.81-8.27, processor bid 8.66, and export 8.66.  
Wheat bids were mostly 4 to 7 cents lower; elevator bids 5.00-5.29.  
   Cotton on Friday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 3.00 
lower at 63.09.
