SC Farm Report on Friday   
	          
  SC Cattle Auctions Weekly Review:  Compared to last week, feeder steers 
and feeder bulls were 2.00 lower. Feeder heifers were unevenly steady. 
Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 134.00-155.00; 500-600 
lbs 129.00-135.00.  Feeder Bulls: Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 
130.00-140.00; 500-600 lbs 120.00-136.00.  Feeder Heifers: Medium and 
Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 120.00-135.00, 500-600 lbs 116.00-126.50.  
Slaughter cows were steady. Slaughter cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 54.00-
70.00; Boners 80-85% lean 51.00-76.00; Lean 85-90% lean 50.00-61.00; Lean 
low dressing 38.00-50.00.  Slaughter bulls were steady.  Slaughter bulls:  
1015-2115 lbs 58.00-105.00. 
   Goats: [216]  Week Ago: 279.  Reported Monday to Wednesday. Slaughter 
and replacement classes sold on a per head basis and weights are 
estimated.  Kids:  Sel 1 Under 20 lbs 20.00-32.50, 20-40 lbs 30.00-
115.00, 40-60 lbs 45.00-145.00, 60-80 lbs 85.00-100.00; Sel 2 20-40 lbs 
25.00-55.00, 40-60 lbs 30.00-80.00.  Wethers: Slaughter 1 and 2 80-100 
lbs one @ 240.00, 100-150 lbs 175.00-185.00.  Does/Nannies: Sel 1 50-70 
lbs 110.00-140.00, 70-100 lbs 105.00-135.00, 100-140 lbs 147.50-195.00; 
Sel 2 50-70 lbs 50.00-80.00, 70-100 lbs 70.00-85.00, 100-140 lbs 80.00-
130.00.  Bucks/Billies: Sel 1 70-100 lbs 130.00-145.00, 100-150 lbs 
120.00-235.00, 150-250 lbs 165.00-240.00; Sel 2 70-100 lbs one @ 125.00.  
   SC Grain on Friday. New Crop corn was 8 to 9 cents lower; elevator 
bids 4.71-4.74, processor bids 4.76-5.06.  Soybeans were 10 to 12 cents 
lower; elevator bids 8.02-8.47, processor bid 8.88, and export 8.88.  
Wheat bids were mostly 8 to 12 cents lower; elevator bids 4.82-5.28.  
   Cotton on Friday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 1.26 
lower at 65.08.
