SC Farm Report on Thursday  
  	
   Cattle at SC Auctions on Wednesday:  Compared to last week, no trends 
are available due to limited comparable sales.  Feeder Steers: Medium and 
Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 134.00-137.50, 500-600 lbs 129.00-133.00.  Feeder 
Bulls: Medium and Large 1-2 450-500 lbs 135.00-140.00; 500-600 lbs 
130.00-136.00.  Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 120.00-
135.00; 500-600 lbs 123.00-127.00.  Slaughter cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 
56.00-70.00; Boners 80-85% lean 51.00-76.00; Lean 85-90% lean 53.00-
61.00; Lean Low Dressing 38.00-45.00.  Slaughter bulls: 1435-2115 lbs 
77.00-105.00.
   Cow/Calf Pairs:  Medium and Large 1-2 1120-1170 lbs young to middle 
aged cows with calves under 150 lbs 825.00-875.00 per pair.  Medium and 
Large 1-2 820-970 lbs Young to middle age cows with calves over 300 lbs 
975.00-1000.00 per pair. 
   Hogs on Wednesday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-300 lbs was 0.71 lower at 59.66.  
Sows live price 300-450 lbs 52.68; 450-500 lbs 58.76; 500-550 lbs 62.27. 
   SC Grain on Thursday.  New Crop Corn was 16 to 17 cents higher; 
elevator bids 4.80-4.82, processor bids 4.85-5.15.  Soybeans were 17 to 
18 cents higher; elevator bids 8.14-8.57, processor bid 8.99, export bid 
8.99.  New Crop Wheat was mostly 24 cents higher and one location was 34 
cents higher; elevator bids 4.90-5.39. 
   Cotton on Thursday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 0.53 
higher at 66.34. 
   Fruits & Vegetables:  Prices paid to SC growers at the Columbia State
