SC Farm Report on Monday

   National direct slaughter cattle weekly summary. Weighted averages
for all grades, Standard to Prime, mostly Select and Choice. Live FOB
steers 1,368 lbs at 120.34, heifers 1,222 lbs at 129.95. Dressed 
delivered steers 874 lbs at 192.14, heifers 781 lbs at 192.17. Weekly 
boxed beef cutout values for 600-900 carcass weights Choice 223.49, dn 
6.78, and Select 209.57, dn 6.79.
   National direct feeder pigs last Friday, per head weighted average
prices are delivered to the buyer's farm.  Early weaned pigs 5.00 per head
lower.  All feeder pigs 1.00 per head lower on light receipts. Demand light to moderate 
for moderate offerings. Receipts include 57% formulated prices. Feeder 
pigs 10-12 lbs cash basis 57.85; 40 lbs cash basis 89.74.
   Hogs on Friday. Plant delivered weighted average. National direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-300 lbs was 0.16 lower at 61.36.  
Sows live price 300-449 lbs 58.57, 450-499 lbs 65.71, and 500-549 lbs 
68.28.
   SC Grain on Monday. Corn elevator bids 3.77-3.97, processor bids 3.77-4.51.
Soybeans elevator bids 7.16-7.74, processor bid 8.12, export bid 8.12. New crop Wheat
elevator bids 4.17-4.47. 
   Cotton on Monday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 3.00 lower at 62.20.
