SC Farm Report on Friday   
	          
  SC Cattle Auctions Weekly Review:  Compared to last week, feeder steers
and feeder bulls were steady to 4.00 higher. Feeder Heifers were 2.00 
higher.  Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 148.00-178.00; 
500-600 lbs 144.00-170.00.  Feeder Bulls: Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 
lbs 147.00-175.00; 500-600 lbs 140.00-156.00.  Feeder Heifers: Medium and 
Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 129.00-154.00, 500-600 lbs 125.00-145.00.  
Slaughter cows were 2.00 higher.  Slaughter cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 
53.00-68.00; Boners 80-85% lean 51.00-76.00; Lean 85-90% lean 50.00-
62.00; Lean low dressing 30.00-50.00.  Slaughter bulls were 2.00 higher.  
Slaughter bulls:  1000-2190 lbs 68.00-98.00. 
   Goats: [183]  Week Ago: 400.  Reported Monday to Wednesday. Slaughter 
and replacement classes sold on a per head basis and weights are 
estimated.  Kids:  Sel 1 Under 20 lbs 25.00-75.00, 20-40 lbs 50.00-
95.00, 40-60 lbs 90.00-130.00, 60-80 lbs one @ 160.00; Sel 2 N/A.  
Wethers: Slaughter 1 and 2 80-100 lbs one @ 175.00, 150-250 lbs one @ 
290.00.  Does/Nannies: Sel 1 50-70 lbs 6.00-125.00, 70-100 lbs 120.00-
165.00 and few @ 210.00-230.00 Fancy; Sel 2 50-70 lbs 40.00-80.00, 70-100 
lbs 67.50-150.00.  Bucks/Billies: Sel 1 70-100 lbs 125.00-155.00; Sel 2 
70-100 lbs 95.00-115.00.  
   SC Grain on Friday. New Crop corn was 4 cents higher; elevator bids 
4.04-4.11, processor bids 4.09-4.39.  Soybeans were 5 to 6 cents lower; 
elevator bids 7.78-8.23, processor bid 8.74, and export 8.74.  New crop 
wheat bids were 1 to 4 cents higher; elevator bids 4.22-4.52.  
   Cotton on Friday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 0.62 
lower at 74.45.
