SC Farm Report on Thursday  
  	
   Cattle at SC Auctions on Wednesday:  Compared to last week, feeder 
cattle were steady to 3.00 higher.  Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1-2 
400-500 lbs 150.00-156.00, 550-600 lbs 144.00.  Feeder Bulls: 
Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 147.50-152.50, 500-600 lbs 140.00-
145.00. Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 132.50-151.00, 
500-600 lbs 125.00-145.00.  Slaughter cows were steady to 2.00 higher.  
Slaughter cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 55.00-67.00; Boners 85-85% lean 
51.00-76.00; Lean 85-90% lean 51.00-57.00; Lean low dressing 37.00-48.00.  
Slaughter Bulls: 1035-1930 lbs 68.00-106.00. 
   Cow/Calf Pairs: Small to Medium 1-2 640-850 lbs Young to Middle Age 
Cows with 75-275 lbs calves 575.00-825.00 per pair.
   Hogs on Wednesday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-300 lbs was 0.38 lower at 61.97.  
Sows live price 300-450 lbs 52.04; 450-500 lbs 56.73; 500-550 lbs 59.49. 
   SC Grain on Thursday.  New Crop Corn was steady to 1 cent higher; 
elevator bids 3.74-3.87, processor bids 3.77-4.27.  Soybeans were 4 
cents higher; elevator bids 7.84-8.29, processor bid 8.79, export bid 
8.79. New Crop Wheat was 1 to 3 cents higher; elevator bids 4.21-4.51. 
   Cotton on Thursday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 1.20 
higher at 75.07.
