SC Farm Report on Monday

   National direct slaughter cattle weekly summary. Weighted averages
for all grades, Standard to Prime, mostly Select and Choice. Live FOB
steers N/A, heifers N/A. Dressed delivered steers N/A, heifers N/A.  
Weekly boxed beef cutout values for 600-900 carcass weights Choice 
228.20, dn 0.75, and Select 219.33, up 0.67.
   National direct feeder pigs last Friday, per head weighted average
prices are delivered to the buyer's farm.  Early weaned pigs and all 
feeder pigs 7.00 to 8.00 per head higher. Demand moderate for moderate 
offerings. Receipts include 51% formulated prices. Feeder pigs 10-12 lbs 
cash basis 59.96; 40 lbs cash basis 86.96.
   Hogs on Friday. Plant delivered weighted average. National direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-300 lbs was 1.29 higher at 55.34.  
Sows live price 300-449 lbs 40.53, 450-499 lbs 43.85, and 500-549 lbs 
45.92.
   SC Grain on Monday. New Crop Corn was 5 to 8 cents higher; elevator 
bids 4.14-4.19, processor bids 4.19-4.49.  Soybeans were 1 to 17 cents 
higher; elevator bids 8.20-8.66, processor bid 9.05, export bid 9.05.  
New crop wheat was 4 to 5 cents higher; elevator bids 4.48-4.78. 
   Cotton on Monday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 0.25 
lower at 74.11.
   Fruits & Vegetables: Prices paid to SC growers at the Columbia State
