SC Farm Report on Friday   
	          
   SC Cattle Auctions Weekly Review:  Compared to last week, feeder 
cattle were 4.00 lower. Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 
lbs 150.00-170.00; 500-600 lbs 146.00-159.00.  Feeder Bulls: Medium and 
Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 150.00-167.00; 500-600 lbs 131.00-161.00.  Feeder 
Heifers: Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 127.50-145.00, 500-600 lbs 
124.00-137.50.  Slaughter cows were 5.00 lower. Slaughter cows: Breakers 
75-80% lean 50.00-68.00; Boners 80-85% lean 50.00-76.00; Lean 85-90% lean 
50.00-59.00; Lean low dressing 35.00-48.00. Slaughter bulls were 2.00 
lower.  Slaughter bulls:  1020-2290 lbs 60.00-95.00. 
   Goats: [297]  Week Ago: 352.  Reported Monday to Wednesday. Slaughter 
and replacement classes sold on a per head basis and weights are 
estimated.  Kids:  Sel 1 Under 20 lbs 25.00-47.50, 20-40 lbs 45.00-
95.00, 40-60 lbs 70.00-115.00, 60-80 lbs 90.00-135.00; Sel 2 N/A.  
Wethers: Slaughter 1 and 2 80-100 lbs one @ 250.00, 100-150 lbs 190.00-
300.00.  Does/Nannies: Sel 1 50-70 lbs 85.00-125.00, 70-100 lbs 125.00-
160.00, 100-140 lbs 160.00-170.00; Sel 2 70-100 lbs 50.00-100.00, 70-100 
lbs 95.00-125.00.  Bucks/Billies: Sel 1 70-100 lbs 122.50-165.00, 100-150 
lbs 185.00-220.00, 150-250 lbs one @ 250.00; Sel 2 70-100 lbs one @ 
105.00.  Pairs/Trios: Sel 1 100-140 lbs With Three Kids Under 20 lbs 
320.00 per group; Sel 2 70-100 lbs with One Kid Under 20 lbs 195.00 per 
pair, 70-100 lbs with Two Kids Under 20 lbs 165.00-220.00 per trio.
   SC Grain on Friday.  New crop corn was 1 to 2 cents higher; elevator 
bids 4.28-4.30, processor bids 4.33-4.63.  Soybeans were 6 to 8 cents 
lower; elevator bids 8.28-8.73, processor bid 9.14, export bid 9.14.  
New Crop wheat was mostly steady to 1 cent lower, and one location was 2 
cents higher; elevator bids 4.50-4.80.
   Cotton on Friday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 0.60 
lower at 73.33.
