SC Farm Report on Friday   
	          
   SC Cattle Auctions Weekly Review:  Compared to last week, feeder 
steers were 5.00 higher.  Feeder heifers were 2.00 higher.  Feeder bulls 
were 3.00 higher.  Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 
150.00-167.00; 500-600 lbs 135.00-154.00.  Feeder Bulls: Medium and Large 
1-2 400-500 lbs 145.00-168.00; 500-600 lbs 125.00-150.00.  Feeder 
Heifers: Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 124.00-141.00, 500-600 lbs 
122.00-132.00. Slaughter cows were 3.00 higher. Slaughter cows: Breakers 
75-80% lean N/A; Boners 80-85% lean 55.00-73.00; Lean 85-90% lean 48.00-
56.00; Lean low dressing 34.00-43.00. Slaughter bulls were 5.00 higher.  
Slaughter bulls:  1000-2050 lbs 55.00-100.00. 
   Goats: [166]  Week Ago: 257.  Reported Monday to Wednesday. Slaughter 
and replacement classes sold on a per head basis and weights are 
estimated.  Kids:  Sel 1 Under 20 lbs 20.00-60.00, 20-40 lbs 40.00-
115.00, 40-60 lbs 60.00-130.00; Sel 2 N/A.  Wethers: Slaughter 1 and 2 
N/A.  Does/Nannies: Sel 1 50-70 lbs 75.00-135.00, 70-100 lbs one @ 
175.00, 140-180 lbs 185.00-200.00; Sel 2 50-70 lbs 50.00-90.00, 70-100 
lbs 85.00-105.00.  Bucks/Billies: Sel 1 70-100 lbs 115.00-165.00, 100-150 
lbs 145.00-225.00; Sel 2 70-100 lbs 82.50-120.00, 100-150 lbs 110.00-
120.00.  Pairs/Trios: Sel 1 50-70 lbs with One Kid Under 20 lbs 190.00 
per pair, 70-100 lbs with One Kid Under 20 lbs 130.00-210.00, 70-100 lbs 
with Two Kids under 20 lbs 250.00-270.00 per trio.
   SC Grain on Friday.  Corn was 2 cents higher; elevator bids 4.18, 
processor bids 4.08-4.63.  Soybeans were 2 to 3 cents higher; elevator 
bids 8.42-8.78, processor bid 9.18, export bid 9.18.  New Crop wheat was 
2 to 5 cents higher; elevator bids 4.92-5.32.
   Cotton on Friday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 0.76 
lower at 71.14.
