In early trading on Wednesday, shares of United Airlines Holdings topped the list of the day's best performing components of the S&P 500 index, trading up 10.2%. Year to date, United Airlines Holdings registers a 10.8% gain.
And the worst performing S&P 500 component thus far on the day is Travelers Companies, trading down 7.0%. Travelers Companies is showing a gain of 8.9% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are J.B. Hunt Transport Services, trading down 6.4%, and Dayforce, trading up 6.2% on the day.
